I had an amazing experience at Casa Evelyn in a fabulous location. Maria, the host, made me feel at home and was extremely helpful. the rooms were modern and clean, with AC and a shared bathroom that was only used by one other room. the kitchen looked brand new and the rooftop terrace offered the best views in the city. the convenient location was within walking distance of the walled city and numerous restaurants and bars. Cons: Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like about Casa Evelyn. 😄.

The location is fabulous, with Instagram-worthy surroundings. the room is comfortable and the shared bathrooms are mostly clean. the homely atmosphere and helpful hosts contribute to a pleasant stay. the neighborhood is peaceful and not too touristy. Good value for money. the guesthouse has a kitchen, dining hall, and small terrace. It is within walking distance of the Centro and Trinidad plaza in Getsemani.

Best aspects of my Christmas stay included the modern and clean rooms with AC. The shared bathroom was only shared with one other room, which was a plus. The rooftop terrace offered amazing views of the city, and it was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. The location was also key, with easy access to the vibrant neighborhoods of Gestemani and the walled city. the hotel provided a comfortable and convenient stay.

Worst aspects included the noise from the nearby bar, which lasted until 1am. While I didn't mind the music, it may be bothersome for light sleepers.
